Overview
Sherweb is updating the way ThreatDown services are provisioned and managed.
As part of this transition, ThreatDown administration will move to ThreatDown OneView, new Sherweb billing SKUs will be introduced, and eligible PSA mappings will be updated. Your existing services, pricing, and purchasing relationship with Sherweb remain unchanged.
What's changing?
Provisioning and License Management
Today, ThreatDown licenses are provisioned per client organization using the Product Catalog in Cumulus.
Beginning October 1, 2026, day-to-day administration will move to ThreatDown OneView portal. The OneView portal will be accessible through the Vendors section of Cumulus.
After the transition:
You will create new client organizations directly in the ThreatDown OneView portal.
You will also assign and manage ThreatDown licenses in OneView.
Cumulus will continue to provide you access to ThreatDown through the Vendors section, along with reporting and billing information.
Important: You do not need to recreate existing organizations.
Billing and PSA Changes
As part of this migration, new Sherweb billing SKUs will replace existing ThreatDown marketplace SKUs. As a result, your first invoice after the migration may look different from previous invoices.
Partners using a Sherweb PSA integration may also see new ThreatDown SKU references in their PSA platform following the migration.
For more information, see ThreatDown OneView Migration: PSA Mapping Changes
Invoice Timing Changes
Sherweb has introduced a usage validation process for certain vendor-billed services. Depending on your invoice date, charges may appear on a subsequent invoice following the month in which the usage occurred.
For more information, see Understanding Vendor Usage Validation and Invoice Timing.
What is not changing?
The following will not change:
You will continue to purchase and be billed for ThreatDown through Sherweb.
Your ThreatDown pricing will not change as a direct result of this transition.
Your existing ThreatDown services, protection levels, and endpoints are not being changed.
