Domestic and international calling using Cloud PBX
This guide will explain the difference between domestic and international calling and how to enable international calling for your Cloud PBX account.
You must have a Sherweb Cloud PBX account.
Using our Cloud PBX services, any calls made to the Contiguous U.S and Canada is considered domestic and will not result in additional charges from Sherweb.
The Contiguous U.S and Canada excludes the northern territories of Canada (the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut), Alaska, Hawaii and the island territories of the U.S (American Samoa, Guam, The Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
Any calls made to the exclusions mentioned above are considered international calls.
International calling can be enabled using the Sherweb Cloud PBX service, but international calls will result in additional charges from Sherweb.

In order to make an international call, it must first be enabled in your PBX account. This is usually done during the onboarding process, but if you chose not to enable it during your onboarding and wish to do so now, please send a request to our Support Team. The request must be sent by the account owner listed in the Partner Portal.
Please include the list of extensions for which international calling must be enabled, as well as a 4-digit pin that users will have to enter when making international calls (this PIN cannot be 1234 or start with a 0).
If a PIN is already enabled on the account, but you’ve forgotten the PIN number, the account owner can also contact our Support team to retrieve it.
