Configure notification settings in the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) with Sherweb

Requirements
- Only users with the one of the following roles assigned can proceed with this procedure: Service Provider Global Administrator, Service Provider Administrator.
Important Notes
- By default, the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) uses port TCP/25 for communication with the SMTP server.
- Instead of using SMTP settings to send notifications, you can also configure an integration of the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) and a compatible mail service provider. Please note that Sherweb' support for third-party mail service providers is very limited.
- Without the proper settings of your email server (SMTP), the Forgot Password feature for your users will not work. An email address must also be configured in the user profile to use the Forgotten Password feature.
Procedure
- From the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) portal, click on Configuration, then click on Notifications.
- Optionally, change the default sender for notifications.
Configure your SMTP settings.
Then, click on Save.

- Then, select your desired level of notification between receiving a daily summary or a single email for each notification. Customize fields according to your requirements. Then, click on Save.
Note: You can update those settings at a later moment if needed.

- Many predefined alarms are included in the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC). You can assign them to all companies or specific companies, you can enable or disable them as required, you can edit or copy them if customizations are required, etc.
