How to migrate to the new Proofpoint Essentials SKU
This article will guide you through the steps to follow to start using the new Proofpoint Essential SKU that automates the license reconciliation process. Following these steps in order will ensure that you do not impact your Proofpoint services while transitioning over to the new SKU.
- Access your Partner Portal.
- Select the organization that should use the new SKU and click Product Catalog.
- The appropriate SKU would be Proofpoint Essentials listed at a 0$ cost or Proofpoint Essentials for Hosted Exchange if you use Hosted Exchange. Select one of these SKUs and save your changes.
- You will now see a provisioning ongoing for the organization. Wait for the processing to be completed.
- Once the provisioning of the new SKU is done, select the old Proofpoint Essentials SKU and hit cancel.
