Invoicing

  • You will begin to be billed for Huntress through Sherweb from the moment a paid subscription is added to your account.

    • This does not include the trial start date when your partner account is created. The billable services start when you have signed a contract for your minimum commitment and Sherweb's internal team has allocated the requested subscription to your account.

  • Usage and billing data will become available for Sherweb collection from Huntress on the 1st of the month.

  • Huntress is billed in arrears for the previous months calendar usage. As an example:

    • Your trial ended on November 14th.

    • On November 15th you then signed a contract with your needed minimum commitment amount. Once you have signed the contract, the Sherweb team has reached out to you to confirm that the requested subscription has been successfully allocated to your partner account.

    • Sherweb will receive the first usage from your new subscription on January 1st. Only complete service periods (November 15th - December 15th) are delivered to Sherweb from Huntress. This means that usage is captured on January 1st and will show up as charges on your invoice once the usage has been processed into billable items. This means that if your invoice date is the 4th of each month, you will see your first huntress charge with the service period of November 15th to December 15th on your January 4th invoice (given that Sherweb was able to process the usage into billable items before that date)."

  • All subscription tiers are minimum commitment meaning that you will be charged for the minimum commitment amount even if the usage is below the included units.

    • As an example, if your commitment includes 1000 units and you only use 900, you will still be billed for the 1000 commitment tier price.

  • Should you use more than the allotted units within your commitment, you will be charged the commitment price, as well as an actual usage price per unit at the same rate as your chosen tier

  • NFR usage is calculated on any overages after the commitment amount. As an example:

    • You have already contacted Huntress to activate an NFR offer of Endpoint Detection & Response of 20 units.

    • Your minimum commitment of Endpoint Detection & Response is 100 units.

    • Your monthly usage is calculated at 150 Units.

    • As you have an active NFR offer for Endpoint Detection & Response of 20 units, your paid units will only amount to 130 units. (100 included in your minimum commitment, and 30 on a per unit basis.)

Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions can be downgraded upon renewal.
  • Subscriptions can be auto-renewed per product.
    • Auto-renew is turned on by default.
  • Once a subscription is added to the account a 12 month commitment starts.
  • Subscriptions cannot be cancelled during the 12 month term.
  • Subscriptions can be upgraded at anytime. This will start a new 12 month term.
  • The lowest subscription tier available for all products is 50 units.
  • All products can have their own minimum commitment agreements.
    • As an example, you may have a 100 unit commitment for Endpoint Detection & Response, while at the same time having a 2500 unit commitment for Managed Identity Threat Detection & Response.
    • This also includes different term end dates being possible per product depending on when they were added to your MSP account.
