Description

As a requirement to use our Veeam services with the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC), the Auto License Key Update (ALK) or Automatic License Update feature must be enabled in your Veeam products (Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam ONE, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365)

Procedures below are for Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) serversThe same methods can be used for Veeam ONE and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365.

Procedures


Method 1 – Using the Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) console

1. Connect to your backup server environment

2. Open the Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) console and connect to your backup server.

 

 

 

3. Click on the Menu icon and click on License.

 

 

 

4. Check the box to update the license automatically.

 

 



 

Method 2 – Using Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC)

1. From the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) portal, click on Configuration.
Then, click on Quota & License Usage and click on the Veeam Backup & Replication tab.




 

2. Select one (1) or multiple servers to update and switch the toggle button for the License Auto Update feature to On.
