Invoicing

  • Sherweb will gather actual usage from Nerdio once per month and send billable units directly to Sherweb’s billing engine for inclusion on your regular monthly invoice. 

  • Billed amounts are associated with a prior calendar month's usage based on your bill date. 

    • If your billing date falls between the last day of a month and the 14th of the following month, Nerdio charges included on that invoice will reflect usage from two months prior, not the immediately preceding month. For example, if your billing date is April 10, your April invoice will include Nerdio charges for February usage. 

    • If your billing date falls on the 15th or later, Nerdio charges included on that invoice will reflect usage from the immediately preceding month. For example, if your billing date is April 20, your April invoice will include Nerdio charges for March usage. 

  • Charges and discounts are associated at either the organization or partner level:

    • Organization-Level: Amounts will be allocated under the appropriate organization.

    • Partner-Level: Amounts will be allocated in one of two ways:

      • At the beginning of the invoice without any organization association (All partner-level fees, upcharges, etc.)

      • Under the organization identified as the partner's internal use account. (For IUL only)

How does Nerdio Invoice you?

Nerdio applies the following fees, which are presented at organization level: 

  • AVD is charged $12/user/month and is presented at organization level.

  • Intune is charged $3/user/month and is presented at organization level.

  • Windows 365 Cloud PC is charged $3/user/month and is presented at organization level.

  • IUL: Nerdio also provides free AVD and Intune Internal Use License (IUL) with a combined maximum amount that varies depending of your agreement with Nerdio. It is presented at organization level under the organization that you choose using the Nerdio portal. 

Nerdio applies the one of the following per-tenant minimum fees: 

  • Per User Billing Model: each tenant is subject to a minimum fee of $60/month, presented at organization level

  • Modern Work model: each tenant is subject to a minimum fee of $50/month,presented at organization level. Modern Work is subject to a minimum number of tenants. If that minimum number is not reached, Nerdio invoices the minimum fee of $50 per missing tenant. That charge is shown in your invoice at partner level. 

Nerdio Enhanced Support charged as a percentage of the AVD, Intune and minimum fee charges. It is presented at partner level. 

Your Nerdio partner program discount is then applied to each line item described above, including the IUL credit. 

Nerdio Discount Policy

Nerdio offers partner discounts via their partNERD Program. The discounts offered by tier are displayed below along with any other financial terms or conditions.

If the minimum partner spend is not met after applying the discount, Nerdio invoices a “top up” fee to bridge the gap between your regular charges and the minimum spend. That is presented on the invoice at partner level.

Add-on service by Nerdio's Enhanced Support team. Provides unlimited Enhanced Support team ticket submissions.

Subscription Billing Models

Excluding discounts, price controls, and upcharges, Nerdio offerings are billed under two types of billing models:

 

In most cases, partners will opt into the “per user” billing model. If an MSP has a managed service practice and is actively managing Azure environments of their customers, they may opt into the “Per Tenant” model which establishes a fixed number of customer tenants to be used per month, alongside a fixed cost per customer tenant.  

 

Note: Per Tenant billing is something that requires Nerdio to directly enable. Sherweb's SME team can assist partners in ensuring the right Nerdio representative can get involved to assist with this.
