Invoicing
Sherweb's reconciliation engine will gather actual usage from Nerdio once per month when the monthly billing period is completed, and send billable units directly to Sherweb’s billing engine for inclusion on your regular monthly invoice.
Billed amounts are associated with the prior calendar month's usage.
As an example, a July invoice would bill for the June calendar month's usage.
Charges and discounts are associated at either the organization or partner level:
Organization-Level: Amounts will be allocated under the appropriate organization.
Partner-Level: Amounts will be allocated in 1 of 2 ways
At the beginning of the invoice without any organization association (All partner-level fees, upcharges, etc.)
Under the organization identified as the partner's internal use account. (For IUL only)
Understanding your Nerdio charges
- All billable items are displayed twice on the invoice.
- The second time the billable item appears in the invoice, the billable item name will be replaced.
- The sequence, or order of items displayed, is based purely on how the Nerdio billing API works.
- Any new SKUs that have not yet been mapped will appear last on the invoice.
- If a billable item appears twice (i.e. identical SKUs) under the same organization tied to the partner, charges will be combined under 1 line item.

Subscription Billing Models
Excluding discounts, price controls, and upcharges, Nerdio offerings are billed under two types of billing models:
Per User Billing Model: Overview of Nerdio Manager Billing: Per-user Model – Nerdio Help Center
Per Tenant Billing Model: Overview of Nerdio Manager Billing: Per-tenant Model – Nerdio Help Center
In most cases, partners will opt into the “per user” billing model. If an MSP has a managed service practice and is actively managing Azure environments of their customers, they may opt into the “Per Tenant” model which establishes a fixed number of customer tenants to be used per month, alongside a fixed cost per customer tenant.
Note: Per Tenant billing is something that requires Nerdio to directly enable. Sherweb's SME team can assist partners in ensuring the right Nerdio representative can get involved to assist with this.
