What Is the CyberMSP Community?

The CyberMSP Community is a dedicated space for Managed Service Providers to connect, collaborate, and grow their cybersecurity expertise. It’s designed to foster peer-to-peer learning, share threat intelligence, and elevate the overall security posture of participating MSPs.

Best Practices for Participation 

Do:  

  • Enjoy yourself and have fun connecting with fellow MSPs!
  • Share your experiences and ask questions. 
  • Communicate respectfully. 
  • Provide helpful feedback.
  • Report issues to: admin@cybermspcommunity.com

Don't:

  • Use the platform for sales or promotions. 
  • Share confidential client information. 
  • Post offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content. 

How to Join 

Step 1: Register 

Fill out the CyberMSP Community registration form. 

Step 2: Accept the Invitation 

Once approved, you’ll receive an invitation to join the Microsoft Teams-based community.

Step 3: Set Up Access

Follow the instructions in the welcome email to log in and configure multi-factor authentication. 

Step 4: Set Up Channel Notifications

To stay in the loop, we recommend enabling notifications. Here’s how:

To enable notifications for a specific channel:

  1. Next to the channel name, select ... (More options)
  2. Click the 🔔 Channel notifications
  3. Set your preferences for:
    • All new posts
    • Channel mentions 
  4. Click Save when finished

To enable notifications for all channels:

  1. At the top of your chat list, select ... (More list options)
  2. Go to ⚙️ Customize view > 🔔 Notifications and activity > Chats and channels
  3. Set your preferences for:
    • Chat message notifications​​​​​​​
    • @Mentions
    • Replies to my posts
    • Likes and reactions
    • Posts in all shown channels 
  4. Click Save when finished

Tip: Choose Banner and Feed for device and activity section alerts, or Only Show in Feed for quieter updates

 

Onboarding Process

Once you've joined: 

  1. Visit the Welcome and Onboarding channel to get started and introduce yourself to other MSPs. 
  2. Review the About and Guidelines channel to understand expectations.
  3. Explore the other channels and start engaging with fellow MSPs. 
  4. Have fun!

Explore training resources, share learning tips, and discover certification paths to grow your cybersecurity skills.

MSP News and Updates
Share and review timely articles, relevant insights, and important announcements.

Threat Intelligence Feed
Contribute and stay informed on emerging threats, advisories, and security alerts. 

Feedback & Suggestions
