How to share my Outlook folders

Synopsis

How to share Outlook folders.

Prerequisite

You must have Outlook

You must have a SherWeb hosted Exchange account

How to

1) Open Outlook.

 

2) Click on Folder Permissions located in the Folder header of the ribbon.

 

 

3) Click on Add.

 

 

4) Select a user and then click on OK.

 

 

5) Assign a permission to the user from the Permission Level drop-down menu. Click on Apply and then click on OK.

 

 

Note: Once you granted this access, the other party will need to open your shared resource in their Outlook. Please refer to the FAQ : How to open another user's folders in Outlook.
