How to edit a domain type in the Control Panel.

Prerequisite

You must have a Sherweb hosted Exchange account

Note: There are two ways to use our Exchange services. You can either modify the MX records to point to Sherweb or forward emails from an external source to your Sherweb mailbox. If your MX records point to Sherweb, your domain type should be set as Authoritative. If you are forwarding emails from an external source to your Sherweb mailbox, your domain type should be set as External relay.

1. Log into the Control Panel.

2. Click on Manage Domains, located in the Exchange section under Tasks.

3. Click on Edit next to the domain you wish to change.

4. Select the desired domain type in the dropdown menu and then click on Save.
