Manage Access Keys on Cloud Object Storage powered by Wasabi

Important Notes

The root account and each sub-user can have a maximum of two (2) access keys.
 

A secret key cannot be changed. If a secret key is compromised or needs to be changed, delete the access key and create a new one.

Create a new access key

  1. Login to the Wasabi console using your credentials (using the root account or a user with Administrator Access).

  2. Go to the Access Keys section and click on CREATE NEW ACCESS KEY

  3. Select the user for whom create the new access key (root user or sub-user) and click on CREATE.

  4. Select your preferred way to get your keys. Once keys are saved, you can now safely close the window.

  5. You can now provide the new access key to the user.

Change the access key status

  1. Login to the Wasabi console using your credentials (using the root account or a user with Administrator Access).

  2. Go to the Access Keys section.
    Identify the access key to enable or disable and toggle the status to Active or Inactive.

Delete an access key

  1. Login to the Wasabi console using your credentials (using the root account or a user with Administrator Access).

  2. Go to the Access Keys section. Identify the access key to delete and click on DELETE.

  3. Click on DELETE again to confirm

  4. The access key cannot be used anymore to access data in your storage account.
