Guide for retail customers


Guide for partners

  1. Log in to the Partner portal.

  2. Navigate to Organizations.

  3. Select the organization for which you wish to purchase perpetual licenses.

  4. In the header menu, select the Product Catalog tab.

  5. In the Product Catalog, you can see the offers you can purchase.

  6. You can find a specific offer in the Product Catalog by:
    1. Typing in key words in the search bar OR

    2. Selecting the Perpetual option under Purchase Type to view a list of Perpetual License offers OR

    3. Selecting the offer family Microsoft Perpetual Licenses on the left-hand side navigation bar.

      Note: You will be able to identify the offers as Perpetual based on the ONE-TIME label attached to each item.

  7. Select the number of licenses you’d like to purchase.

  8. Once you’ve selected the number of licenses, select Save Changes.

  9. A pop-up window will appear outlining the details of your purchase and displaying the cancellation policy (e.g. 30-day cancellation window with a 5% cancellation fee).

  10. Click the checkbox beside: “I accept - Purchase and cancellation terms described above. For more information, please read our terms.” 
    • You can read our terms of service regarding perpetual licenses in the “please read our terms” hyperlink.

  11. Click Proceed.

  12. Once you’ve selected Proceed, the pop-up window will disappear. You’ll notice the turning gears icon under the Status of the organization for which you’ve purchased perpetual licenses. This indicates that your order is being processed.


    Note: Within a few minutes of completing the purchase, you can also review the organization’s logs to validate the purchase.


  13. To download perpetual license software and license keys, you can follow the steps outlined in the following guide: How to download perpetual license software and license keys.


Guide for retail customers

  1. Log in to the Sherweb portal.

  2. Navigate to Services.


  3. Select the Product Catalog tab.

  4. In the Product Catalog, you can see the offers you can purchase.

  5. You can find the specific offer in the Product Catalog by:
    1. Typing in key words in the search bar OR

    2. Selecting Perpetual option under Purchase Type to view a list of Perpetual License offers OR

    3. Select the offer family Microsoft Perpetual Licenses by Sherweb in the left-hand side navigation bar.

      Note: You will be able to identify the offers as Perpetual based on the ONE-TIME label and Perpetual License label attached to each item.

  6. Select the number of licenses you’d like to purchase.

  7. Once you’ve selected the number of licenses, select Save Changes.

  8. A pop-up window will appear to confirm your order. Click the checkbox beside I understand this will automatically charge all the products listed above and then select Next.

  9. A final pop-up screen will appear outlining the details of your purchase and displaying the cancellation policy (i.e. 30-day cancellation window with a 5% cancellation fee).

  10. Select the I accept statement.

  11. Select Proceed

  12. Once you’ve selected Proceed, the pop-up window will disappear, and you’ll notice the turning gears icon under Status of the organization you’ve purchased perpetual licenses for. This indicates that your order is being processed.
