How to turn on Junk email filtering in OWA 2016

Synopsis

If spam emails are being delivered to your inbox instead of your junk email folder, you should check if junk email filtering is enabled in OWA. This guide explains how to do just that.

Prerequisite

You must have a hosted Exchange 2016 account with Sherweb.

How to

1) Log into OWA. To know which URL you need to use, log into the Control Panel and take note of the webmail value in the Organization Administrator Information section, or the Information for users section.

 

 

2) Click on the Options gear and then click on Options.

 

 

3) Click on block or allow. Make sure the Automatically filter junk email radio button is selected.

 

 

4) Click on Save.
