Roles and permission levels in the Partner Portal

Synopsis

This guide explains the different access roles in the Partner Portal.

Prerequisite

You must be an Account Admin, Billing Manager, or Technical manager in the Partner Portal.

How to

There are four sets of permissions in the Partner Portal, depending on what type of account you have: Partner, Sub Partner, Retail and Advisor.

Partner

Account Admin

  • Has access to everything (combining the permissions of Technical Manager & Billing Manager).
  • Can change licenses in the Partner Portal and manage all platforms that have SSO (single sign-on) access.
  • Can approve request that includes professional fees (restores, for example).
  • Can create new Partner Portal users and send invites.
  • Can create sub reseller accounts.

 

Billing Manager

  • Has access to the Billing section (invoicing, change credit card information and print previous invoices).

 

Technical Manager

  • Has access to the Technical section.
  • Can change licenses in the Partner Portal and manage all platforms that have SSO (single sign-on) access.

Sub Partner

Account Admin

  • Has access to everything (excluding Billing).
  • Can change licenses in the Partner Portal and manage all platforms that have SSO (single sign-on) access.
  • Can create new Partner Portal users and send invites.

  

Technical Manager

 

  • Has access to the Technical section.
  • Can change licenses in the Partner Portal and manage all platforms that have SSO (single sign-on) access.

Retail

Account Admin

  • Has access to everything (combining the permissions of Technical Manager & Billing Manager).
  • Can change licenses in the Partner Portal and manage all platforms that have SSO (single sign-on) access.
  • Can approve request that includes professional fees (restores, for example).
  • Can create new Partner Portal users and send invites.

 

Billing Manager

  • Has access to the Billing section (invoicing, change credit card information and print previous invoices).

 

Technical Manager

  • Has access to the Technical section.
  • Can change licenses in the Partner Portal and manage all platforms that have SSO (single sign-on) access.

Advisor

Account Admin

  • Has access to everything in the advisor account.
  • Can add Referrals and can modify their profile. 

 

Delegated Account Administrator

  • Gives the Advisor the permission to manage their referrals like an Account Admin, through the Manage Button in their referrals list.
