Create users in the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) with Sherweb

Description
Additional users can be created to access the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC).
Follow steps below to create new local users.
Requirements
- Only users, with the one of the following roles, can proceed with this procedure: Service Provider Global Administrator, Service Provider Administrator.
Important Notes
- There can only be one (1) user with the Service Provider Global Administrator role.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) can also be configured.
To add the Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication, go to the Configuration section, then register an identity provider in the Security section -> Single Sign-On tab. Then, SSO rules can be added in the Roles and Users section.
Procedure
- From the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) portal, go into the Configuration section.
- Go into the Roles and Users section -> Local Users tab and click on New.
- Fill the fields in the User Info section. Then, click on Next.
Note: This section is optional. - Define the new login and a password in the Login Info section. Then, click on Next.
- Select the desired role to assign to the new user in the Role section. Then, click on Next.
Note: The description changes when selecting a different role to help on assigning the best role in the Veeam Service Provider Console for the new user.

- According to the chosen role, additional options may be required in the user creation setup. In this example, granular management can be implemented for the management of a few organizations.
- Optional but recommended – You can enforce the Multi-Factor Authentication. Then, click on Next.
- Click on Finish to complete the local user creation.
The user account you created can now be used to access the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC).
