Unsupported scenarios and limitations for Veeam Cloud Connect, Veeam License Rental and the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) with Sherweb
Here are few known limitations that apply to the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC), Veeam Cloud Connect or Veeam License Rental services that Sherweb provides.
- The following Sherweb's products using Veeam products in the backend cannot be monitored with the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC):
- The Sherweb’s infrastructure platform named Performance Cloud VMware
- The Sherweb’s Backup as a Service product named M365 Backup powered by Veeam
- Use a custom domain for the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) portal URL is not supported.
- Have sub-resellers with their own managed companies is not supported.
- Using Veeam Agents under the control (Managed mode) of Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC).*
- Unlicensed products, like Veeam Backup & Replication Community Edition, are not supported.
- The Insider Protection feature is enabled by default for a maximum of seven (7) days.
- The Auto License Key Update (ALK) or Automatic License Update feature must be enabled in your Veeam products (Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam ONE, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365).
- Selecting multiple VSPC regions, when activating the Veeam Activation of in your organizations, is not supported. Even if multiple regions are displayed in your Cumulus account management portal, the first region chosen will also need to be chosen for all future Veeam activations.
