Partner Earned Credit (PEC) eligibility and your Sherweb Azure discount (Partner only)
As a Sherweb partner, you are entitled to your partner Azure tier discount, provided Sherweb receives Partner Earned Credits (PEC) for managed services from Microsoft. However, PEC (and in turn your partner Azure tier discount) does not apply to the following Azure offerings:
- Azure Reserved Instances
- Products identified as non-Microsoft or Third Party in the “Tags” column of the Azure plan consumption price list
- Azure Marketplace Products
- Azure Spot Virtual Machines
- Azure Savings Plans
- Any overage charges for telco products
To receive your partner Azure tier discount, please ensure that your Azure CSP subscriptions have the appropriate admin privileges set up for Sherweb. See this article to learn how to provide or reinstate admin privileges on Azure CSP subscriptions.
Note about terminology: "Azure Plan Usage” in your Cumulus invoice is categorized as either “billed” or “unmanaged” usage. “Billed” usage indicates that a discount has been applied, whereas “unmanaged” usage has no discount.
