Update the quota of the Veeam Cloud Connect repository using the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) with Sherweb
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Description
When enabling the Veeam Activation offer in your Cumulus account management portal, a Veeam Cloud Connect backup repository is configured by default with a quota of ten (10) terabytes (TB).
Backup jobs can be configured to use that cloud repository for the destination of Veeam backups. If that quota is not sufficient for your needs, you can increase the quota using the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC).
Requirements
- Only users with the one of the following roles assigned can proceed with this procedure: Service Provider Global Administrator, Service Provider Administrator, Service Provider Operator.
Procedure
- From the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) portal, go into the Companies section. Select the company to update and click on Edit.
- Go in the Services section and click on your backup repository.
- Select your backup repository and click on Edit.
- In the new window, set the desired quota and click on OK.
- Click on Apply.
- Click on Finish.
7. In your Veeam Backup and Replication (VBR) server, you may need to refresh the service provider to see the new size of your cloud backup repository.
To proceed, open your Veeam Backup and Replication (VBR) console, go to the Backup Infrastructure section and click on Service Providers.
Click on the service provider, then click on Rescan.
Once the rescan is completed, close the window.
To validate that the cloud backup repository is updated, click on Backup Repositories.
The new size of your cloud backup repository is now displayed.
