How to restore a virtual machine’s backup to Performance Cloud

Description

This guide will show you how to restore a backup of your virtual machine(s) in Performance Cloud.

Procedure

1. In the BACKUPS section, select your backup job.

2. Go to the RESTORE section.

3. Select the backup version you wish to restore and click on RESTORE.

4. Three green loading bars will appear to show the ongoing restore process.

Note:
It is only possible to restore as a new virtual machine, so the original VM is not overwritten. The original VM can be deleted later if it is not required anymore.
